I liked how closely tied the plot was and it made it easy for me to jump right back into this series. I was very engrossed in it and while I felt a little swindled on the outcome it will please DBTB fans who need to know Alice is safe. Find another something pretty that appeals to you. His compulsion isn't working on her so in a bizarre twist he allows her to believe that she holds all the cards. Of course, this means lots of shenanigans to convince Rachel's sister Brent is a cad and she and Charles wind up giving into their attraction.

He just never counted on meeting Rachel. I just loved watching Charles and Rachel fight their feelings for one another. In point of fact not only is the aloof Rachel able to resist him but she discovers that Charles is a vampire. The romance between them is smoking hot but also has those cute moments, Young sister and brother blackmail.
Charles has his own mission to accomplish but keeps getting distracted by Rachel and her schemes, Young sister and brother blackmail. I am loving this series by Tiffany Allee. I found this story to be enjoyable and entertaining with lots of humorous scenes and dialogue, intriguing missions, steamy passion, charming characters and some twist that kept me guessing. A sexy vampire will always keep me involved, and he was definitely of the sexy variety. What he hadn't expected was to meet a certain Rachel who seems immune to his powers! It's fairly quick to read and full of characters that feel more romantic suspense then paranormal romance but it seems to work. We do get to see Noah and Alice a bit in this book, which is wonderful.
Lust inspires between them even though Rachel refuses to acknowledge it until she catches him in a compromising position and uses it to her advantage. Rachel is desperate for any help she can get and decides Charles is the key. So of course I jumped at the chance to read this book even though I have not read the first book in this series, Don't Bite the Bridesmaid yet. But I said this is a sequel, because the characters in this story were all introduced in the first book, Young sister and brother blackmail, and the story directly follows the last one.
I did really dislike Rachel's sister, to the point I fantasized about punching her through my ereader screen, but other than that it was the perfect sort of light paranormal romance read that's perfect for a beach read. Rachel is shy, reserved and doesn't trust men. Now she Momoko hishina Young sister and brother blackmail come up with a great plan to make it work this time.
He knows that Noah doesn't have much faith in him and he needs to show him that he can do something right.

I read it in a little over an hour. The strong compelling characters are charismatic, easily related to and draw the reader deeper into the story and have them wanting to know more. Together they embark on some humorous encounters, along with romances and a case to solve.

Rachel and Charles were an adorable couple. I think most readers will really enjoy the romance but I actually found the mystery of whom was behind the threats to be the most entertaining part. As the two put their plans in motion they are forced to spend time with each as a couple. Good intension sometimes results in someone getting hurt.
I did have a few small issues. A girl can only hold out for so long. Oh and man is he SEXY! Rating this is hard as it's not my usual type of story but three is mean so a four it is, Young sister and brother blackmail.

As the titles indicate, this series is a fairly lighthearted take on vampires and paranormal romance. She makes us fall in love with her leading vampire men! She can't understand her sister staying with a man who treats her the way he does and he even cheats on her. It's fine as a standalone but does obviously connect with the previous book.
Especially when I read the blurb. Luckily blackmailing a vampire has its bonuses since Charles is always Sexx litte boy to save the day. This was a really fast read that had me experiencing a range of emotions. At least the good Search… Familys house, Brant is definitely a slime ball.
Someone is sending messages and Charles has promised Noah that he will hunt the aggressor down and put a stop to it all.
