If you open Adobe bridge and browse to the After effects text presets you will see that you can click on a preset and in the preview there is an animated GIF. So I am attempting to do this for custom presets.

Arabic character encoding problem
Post Sun Jan 31, pm Hi guys, I am working on a script to basically insert a gif as metadata into a fx preset ì•„ë‘¥ì´. Maybe its a encoding issue, ì•„ë‘¥ì´ I don't have the correct encoding on my system. Ì•„ë‘¥ì´ does not do any conversion. I am vieweing the data through RFHUTIL and initially i thoughtì•„ë‘¥ì´, may be rfhutil was unable to display them fine but since xml spy or internet explorer was able to show the data., ì•„ë‘¥ì´.
But that is not true because the data when loaded to polish database still shows up as the corrupt characters as above, ì•„ë‘¥ì´.
