Meet Me at the Park – City of Lynnwood
I call that a great use of your time! Experienced Recreation staff will be leading activities during the day and will Japanmilk joined throughout the week Meet at the park our community partners. Check out our Events Calendar for more ways to play! These are all activities suitable for beginners that add another fun element to meeting up with friends. Go on a walking tour of the park. Meet at the Park, Meet at the park. Activities may change based on community interests and should provide options for all ages and abilities.

We encourage people to join the program closest to you. Civic Center Park sparkles, moves and celebrates alongside the city that surrounds it.
Attend a Concert. Meet at the park to play.
Meet at a park that rents kayaks or paddle boards…or snowshoes and skis in the winter. Meet at the park to pause, Meet at the park. Want to get outside and enjoy our beautiful neighbourhood parks and green spaces? Biking and chatting can be tricky depending on how busy the trail is!
I have nothing against coffee shops, and meet friends there, too. My daughter and I went paddle boarding together instead of meeting at a coffee shop.

Visit an exhibit or event at the McNichols Building. You accomplish two things with the same effort, Meet at the park. Anything to add variety. Activities offered will vary from site to site based on the amenities available and will include a variety of options for unstructured creative play. Need a place to play, pause, participate and process?
That gives you an excuse to get out to that park, it gives you time with your friend, and you learn a new skill. The program is being offered in partnership with the local Community Meet at the park in those neighbourhoods.
