In this degradation of the profession, the architects directly criticize the ways of working in contemporary architecture. We can approach this question by turning to Lorenzo Magalotti's eight Lettere sopra i buccheri Letters about bucaros of His letters compare the color, shape, and flavoring power of the bucaros of Portugal with those from three locations in the New World: Guadalajara, Nata, and Chile.
