When a byte as you read the file in sequence 1 byte at a time from start to finish has a value of less than decimal then it IS an ASCII character. My problem is that several of these characters are combined and å…ã„ replace normal å…ã„ I need, å…ã„.
I receive å…ã„ file over which I have no control and I need to process the data in it with Excel, å…ã„. This thread is locked.
